This policy covers fahimcode.com, booking and chat tools, emails, invoices, and any mobile or Meta app that links here. A specific app may add a short in-app notice if it collects extra data.

2. Information we collect

You give us

• Name, email, phone, company, project details, and files you send
• Account identifiers and profile details if you sign in
• Payment and billing details (processed by Stripe, Wise, PayPal, Payoneer, Relay, or your bank; we do not store full card numbers)
• Support messages, reviews, and survey answers

Collected automatically

• IP address, device, browser, pages viewed, referrer, and approximate location
• Cookies and similar IDs for analytics, ads measurement, and security
• App diagnostics, crash logs, and performance data

From platforms you connect

• Meta (Facebook Login / Instagram / WhatsApp / Messenger): public profile, email, and other permissions you approve in the Facebook dialog. We request only what the feature needs.
• Google: account email or profile if you use Google Sign-In or Google APIs you authorize.
• Apple: name and email (or Apple’s private relay email) if you use Sign in with Apple.
• CRM, Shopify, or other tools you ask us to connect for a project.

3. How we use information

• Respond to quotes, book calls, deliver work, and send invoices
• Operate accounts, apps, and customer support
• Process payments and prevent fraud or abuse
• Measure marketing (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) if you allow optional cookies
• Improve the website and apps, and keep them secure
• Comply with law, tax, accounting, and platform rules (Meta, Apple, Google, payment providers)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell Meta Platform data.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK and similar)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Contract: to deliver services you request
• Legitimate interests: security, product improvement, B2B outreach that you can opt out of
• Consent: optional analytics/ads cookies, newsletters, and certain app permissions
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests

5. Sharing

We share data with processors who help us run the business, including:

• Payments: Stripe, Wise, PayPal, Payoneer, Relay, banks
• Hosting, CDN, and email
• CRM, booking, and chat (such as UpwardCRM / LeadConnector)
• Analytics: Google, PostHog (if enabled)
• Advertising measurement: Meta
• Apple and Google when you use their stores or sign-in

We may disclose data if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a merger or sale of the business (with appropriate safeguards).

6. Meta Platform data

For Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or WhatsApp apps: we use Platform data only to provide the app’s features you requested. We do not use it to sell data, to credit bureaus, or for unrelated ads. We follow Meta’s Platform Terms and Limited Use policy. You can remove the app in Facebook Settings and request deletion at fahimcode.com/data-deletion. 7. Mobile apps (Apple and Google)

Apps may request camera, photos, notifications, tracking, or other permissions. The system prompt explains why. You can refuse. On iOS, tracking for ads uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Google Play Data safety labels will match this policy. If an app creates an account, we will offer in-app account deletion as Apple and Google require, in addition to email requests.

8. Payments

Card and bank data is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Those providers act as independent controllers or processors under their own policies (for example Stripe, Wise). We receive confirmation of payment, last-4 digits or account identifiers they share, and billing contact details needed for invoices and tax.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies run the site (security, load balancing, consent record). Optional cookies include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and similar tools. You can use the controls in Privacy Choices below, your browser settings, and platform opt-outs.

10. Retention

Enquiry data is kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client and invoice records are kept for tax and contract periods (typically up to 7 years). App and Meta data is deleted when you request deletion or when no longer needed for the feature, unless we must keep it for law or disputes. Analytics data follows each vendor’s retention settings.

11. Security and international transfers

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method is 100% secure. Data may be processed in Bangladesh, the United States, the EEA, or other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses used by those providers).

12. Children

Our marketing site and standard services are not directed at children under 13 (or 16 where that is the digital-consent age). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it. Children’s apps, if we publish any, will disclose that and follow COPPA, Google Designed for Families, and Apple Kids Category rules.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and you may withdraw consent. California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell data; sharing for cross-context ads, if any, can be limited via Privacy Choices). EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

15. Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Continued use means you accept the updated policy. For material changes to an app, we will follow Apple, Google, and Meta notice rules.
